British Empire medial investiture

Our Music Director, Erika Shearer, was presented with her British Empire Medal at an investiture ceremony on 29th May 2026.  The medal was awarded by the Lord Lieutenant of Orkney and the Convener of Orkney Islands Council during a wonderful ceremony held in St Magnus Cathedral. We are immensely proud of Erika and all that she does for OTMP and for the promotion of traditional music throughout Orkney.  Congratulations, Erika, on this well deserved honour.
