Orkney Tune
Recently Orcadian descendant Shaun Hubbard visited there. She is a fiddler and for 15 yr we were in a dance band. We played a tune we knew as Jimmy Garson's March (in Am or Em) that I got from a couple of recordings; it had made its way to England. I have become curious as to its origins; the title may or may not be descriptive, as it could merely mean "a march that Garson played, that has no name or we don't know one"

Has anyone heard of such a tune name? Or perhaps is anyone interested in receiving a pdf of the "dots" to pass around, to see if anyone knows about it?

All best

When I was returning to my liner 2 weeks ago, I saw and heard two magnificant fiddle players. A great way to end the holiday! Thanks.

Thanks!!!
Thank you for the wonderful performance at the "MacRae Tour" dinner in August 09!

It made our trip much more memorable having the OTMP play their talented hearts out for us :-)

I look forward to adding your disc to my music collection to remind me of our special journey to your part of the world.

Keep the passion alive in your playing & continue to touch people's hearts & souls with your special gifts.

May the force be with you :-)

Concert for MacRae tour
What a delightful group!! Enjoyed your music and the dancers who entertained our MacRae group in Kirkwall. Fell in love with the Orkneys and your presence and performance was definitely one of the highlights of our visit. Thank you.
